Citrus Peelminer, Marmara gulosa
We sample for citrus peelminer in by checking for mining activity on inside fruit on the lower half of 20 trees in each block. Peelminer densities are very low in these orchards. Only 5-40% of the trees have any peelminer, and infested trees only have 1-3 fruit per tree. As long as the number of fruit per tree remains low, this should not be an economic problem.
